Jennifer Waltman is a nationally recognized psychologist, leadership coach, and governance consultant with a career spanning tribal government, financial services, non profit organizations, mental health, and higher education. Her work centers on helping individuals and organizations align leadership with values, sustainability, and legacy.
She is the founder of NeuroCALM and co-founder of the WorkWell Collective, where she supports executives, teams, and visionaries through trauma-informed leadership development, career assessment, and strategic consulting. Her distinctive approach integrates brain-based practices with cultural humility and executive coaching to foster resilience, clarity, and high-impact leadership.
Jennifer brings extensive leadership experience, including serving as Commissioner of Community Development for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, where she managed $40 million in programs and infrastructure, and as COO of a $3B financial firm. She currently serves as adjunct faculty at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, teaching in the Trauma-Informed Advocacy program.
A 2014 Bush Fellow, Jennifer is passionate about building healthy systems and empowering professionals to invest in their well-being as a form of leadership. She works across sectors and geographies with a focus on serving tribal communities, law and justice systems, health organizations, and mission-driven enterprises.
