Stephanie Jensen, MSW, LICSW is an Indigenous and Latinx Clinical Social Worker licensed in both Arizona and Minnesota. Stephanie is the founder of Miikana Therapy and St Paul Therapy LLC. Stephanie specializes in working with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD and autism. Stephanie values the role of community in the healing process and seeks to support individuals in connecting/re-connecting with a sense of belonging through community.
Stephanie’s approach to therapy is rooted in a deep understanding of attachment and formative relational experiences. Stephanie focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship and collaboratively developing individualized goals for therapy to help people cultivate the healing they desire in life. Stephanie is also trained in understanding the impacts of racial, intergenerational and historical trauma. Stephanie has been trained in neurodiversity affirming, culturally informed approaches to therapy and has experience supporting folks of marginalized communities. Stephanie takes special interest in relationship difficulties and complex trauma. The communities Stephanie has the most experience working with include: BIPOC, neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, chronically ill, disabled and autistic.
Stephanie is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. She is a certified Brainspotting Practitioner and Brainspotting Consultant. Stephanie will finish EMDR certification in early April of 2024. She is also a Minnesota and Arizona Board Approved Clinical Supervisor.
